How Fifty Years of Repair Work Made Us Central Florida's Homeowner-Only Sprinkler Company

When AAction Sprinkler Repair started in 1972, sprinkler systems in this country looked nothing like they do now. Controllers were mechanical. Pipes were often galvanized. Half the "irrigation industry" was still building itself out for the first time. We were on the ground for that build-out, and we have been fixing what we and other people installed ever since.

We Started in Commercial and Government Work

Our first decades were spent on large commercial and government construction projects. The work spanned much of the eastern and southern United States. That meant industrial-scale systems, big pumps, long runs of pipe, controllers that had to run flawlessly on schedules set years in advance, and standards you did not miss. The work took us to a lot of places we would not have picked as home. It also taught us how sprinkler systems fail, in every climate, on every scale, on every brand of equipment then in use.

By the time we had a couple more decades of that behind us, most of the major brands homeowners recognize now โ€” Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, Irritrol โ€” had grown into what they are today. We had already run and repaired every generation of them.

Why We Came Back to Central Florida for Residential Repair

The commercial world had plenty of companies chasing it. The residential world had almost none who actually specialized in repair. Every new house came with sprinklers, installed by whoever bid the job the lowest. Almost nobody stuck around to service them. Homeowners in Central Florida were being told "we don't do repairs, we install," or worse, "you need a whole new system," when the real answer was a $75 solenoid.

That is the gap we came back to fill. We stopped taking commercial jobs. We stopped taking HOA contracts. We stopped installing new systems entirely. We kept a single focus: residential repair for Central Florida homeowners. Fifty-two years in, that focus has not moved.

What Half a Century of Repair Teaches You

We have worked on systems installed in the 1970s that are still running, and we have worked on systems installed six months ago that were failing before the sod finished rooting. We have replaced parts on every brand of head, valve, timer, and controller in wide residential use. We have diagnosed problems that a first-year technician would call impossible. We have seen the same three or four failure patterns show up in ten thousand different yards.

That accumulated experience is why we can quote a flat price before we start work. When our technician arrives at your house, they are almost certainly not seeing your problem for the first time. They have seen it hundreds of times. The diagnosis is fast because the pattern is familiar, and the repair is right the first time because we know which parts fail and how they fail.

More than 25,000 Central Florida households have called us for that reason. Some of them have been with us across three generations of homeowners in the same house.

We Are Not the Cheapest, and We Are Not Trying to Be

There are plenty of sprinkler companies in Orlando who quote low and make it up on the visit. We quote flat rates. We tell you the price before we touch a wrench. We guarantee the work. That model does not attract cheapest-quote shoppers. It works for people who want the job done once, right, by someone who has been doing it since before they were born.

If that is you, call 407-774-6648. We answer the phone, we schedule a real appointment, and we show up when we say we will.
