Sprinkler Questions, Straight Answers
Why won't my sprinklers turn on?
The most common causes are a wiring fault, a failed valve solenoid, a tripped rain sensor, or a controller that lost its programming after a power outage. Only one of these requires a new timer. We diagnose the actual cause before recommending any parts.
Why is one zone not working?
Almost always a failed solenoid or a wire break between the controller and that valve. Both look identical from the outside. We use a wire fault locator to find breaks without digging up the yard.
Why is my water bill suddenly higher?
An underground line leak or a valve stuck in the open position can waste thousands of gallons before you see any wet ground. We locate the source and fix it, not just the symptom.
Why are there brown patches even though the system runs?
Brown patches with a running system almost always mean a clogged or broken head, not a watering schedule problem. One failed head can leave a dry spot 10 feet wide. We find it and fix it in a single visit.
