Irrigation and sprinkler restrictions near Orlando FL

We know how to do sprinkler repair in the Orlando area.  Some of our sprinkler repair customers have already been warned about watering on the wrong days because their controller wasn’t programmed properly.  We know that the water restrictions in Orange and Seminole county can sometimes give you grief.  Make sure you are using your sprinkler system on the correct daysMandatory lawn watering restrictions specify the days when you may water. These days depend on whether you have an odd- or even-numbered address, and the time of year. So unless your day and number are up, make sure those sprinklers stay down.

The first way to take advantage of your watering days is to set your automatic sprinkler timer to water as many cycles as possible.  Most of our customers have a controller that can be programmed to water more cycles than one.  Using your settings  you are able to water as many as three times to four times a day.  Remember you can not water between the hours of 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  but you can water as many times as you wish between 4 p.m. and 10 a.m.!  Have a professional sprinkler repair company check all your sprinkler heads for optimum watering.  Are all your zones coming on?  Check your sprinkler system for leaks.

The second way to work with the restrictions is to not water at all and have an ugly dried crispy brown lawn.  To make your lawn more presentable you can mow the weeds to give them an even height.  This option is not suggested.
The third way is with your hand held garden hose.  This can be done everyday and your children can help.  Start in a section of your lawn, give your kids a hose and a few outdoor water toys.  Let them play in that section of your lawn for awhile.  After about an hour in that section, move to another section of the yard, maybe add some different toys so the children don’t get bored.  Let them play there until say lunch.  feed them lunch.   Move the hose to another section let them play with the water… and so on and so on.  Do this everyday.  Fun for everyone and the lawn gets watered….  You can use another hose  while the children are playing you can use another hose to water the flower beds.

Enjoy your summer….
